Ahead of the February 25, 2023 presidential election, the Labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, paid a visit tothe former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, in his Ota home on Sunday night, July 17.
Baba-Ahmed took to his Twitter handle to share pictures from the meeting. The purpose of the visit is unknown but it may likely be to gather wider acceptance and support for their presidential ambitions.
Baba-Ahmed wrote;
“Earlier today, myself and H. E. #PeterObi in company of other #NgLabour chieftains consulted with the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.”
