Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeated Governor Gboyega Oyetola of All the Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun Government House.
Adeleke polled 117 votes at Agowande/ Oshogbo GRA/ Governor’s office polling unit, while Oyetola got 106 votes.
However, Votes cast in the state governorship election which was held on Saturday July 16, are still being counted.
